Global Citizens Circle continues to recognize ordinary people living extraordinary lives. These awards have been earned in schools, prison cells, courts, protest marches, backbreaking labor in fields, boardrooms and newsrooms, at kitchen tables, neighborhood lanes, and beyond. We honor compassionate and courageous members of our human family. They started early and they stay at it. Their perseverance gives us hope.
Global Citizens Circle, Social Change Initiative and Southern New Hampshire University, three global organizations whose missions meet to support and empower global citizens, partner in intergenerational listening, learning and action. Together let’s come up with concrete actions to build activism that works across cultures, borders, ethnicities, races, religions and genders to support an inclusive, diverse humanity. We can and must work together to solve critical issues in our communities, our nations and around the globe.
The Circle is not a typical event. Our special participants will join in a moderated conversation that involves highly interactive dialogue among everyone.
We want you to know about our next Circle when it is scheduled. Some will join us in person. Nominate yourself or someone you think can contribute.
If you can’t attend in person, we welcome you to join via livestream. We will accept questions from the online audience via Twitter. Our Twitter handle is @citizens_circle and we are using the hashtag #activismthatworks. Please sign up below.
